Open Access for Textbooks in Europe
Open access is crucial to improving the quality of higher education in Europe. Open Educational Resources (OERs) offer the opportunity to improve access and quality of education and provide a means to share knowledge and increase capacity. In addition, they may also be of interest to policy makers. Open Educational Resources are education and research materials that have been made available in the public domain or have an intellectual property license that allows their free use, modification and distribution.

Objective:         

Providing open access to new or existing study material. The decision was made to carry out a study of a possible role for OPuS.

Results: 

After conducting two studied to the possible role OPuS can play within this field, it was decided in early 2018 to freeze this project until new opportunities open up in the future.
